Not much really. Not interested on doing the quests and didn't like the Costume Brawl bars this year.

So I played normal PvE title-hunting on my Monk which brought in some decent amount of ToT bags... Ah I got the masks... and I had fun with Mad King Thorn's visits.

I got a bit over 4 stacks of tot bags, mainly from doing the quests which I had a lot of fun doing. This was a good event

I received ~645 ToT bags from the quests, which I enjoyed. Mad King Thorn whupped me in Rock-Paper-Scissors, but I was on the ground dead before I realized I had been chosen. I've grown accustomed to ignoring him completely during RPS, so I was completely defenseless.

There's no telling how many ToT bags I got, but I did the skeleton quest enough to get one of my survivors to r2 and everything I got was donated to a friend. I seriously doubt they will ever want to see another pumpkin cookie or transmogrifier tonic again!

It felt nice to be in a position where I didn't really need anything this year.

I got around 6,000 ToTs from farming the SoDs. Other than that not much else.

Farmed a little over a stack of ToT's when the event started over a week ago(vaettirs), then totally ignored the game and worked my butt off IRL. Made enough money over the weekend to buy a new comp. I kind of wish I had logged on and checked out the quests (

Talking yay

1. Finally got Legendary Survivor on my rit from doing the quests. Had another toon do the last two quests and my rit turned in the rewards and received 330k in xp.

2. Got lots and lots of ToT bags from the quests.

3. Kind of wasted my weekend playing GW.

I tried out AP Boonprot. It's very effective with Discord heroes.

It's pretty bad with most PUGs. Here's why. An average PUG will usually consist of 2-3 elementalists, a ranger, two or warriors/assassins/dervishes, two monks, and the rest assorted necros/ritualists/mesmers/what-have-you.

The problem with a PUG player of each class:

Ranger: Usually isn't running anything very useful.
Warrior: Tanking, instead of doing damage.
Assassin: Perma tanking, instead of death chains.
Mesmer: Some useless shit.
Elementalist: Thinks elemental damage is good in Hard Mode.
Dervish: Avatar of Balthazar and other wammo-esque shit.

Paragon: SY spam is good.
Necromancer: Usually not too bad.
Ritualist: Kicking ass with Spirits, usually.
Monk: Usually doing his/her job well.

In other words, the party isn't usually dealing enough damage, and AP relies on the sort of damage you get from a Discord trio or an Assassin who's doing his job (damage).

Still, I do love AP Boonprot in groups that provide enough damage to power it. Involves a lot more active gameplay than generic HB healspam.
